A national coalition is looking for qualified applicants for a job opening with an item for Resource Mobilization Officer.
Job Description
Main Task: Conceptualize and implement a series of fund raising events and activities, based
on a broad resource mobilization strategy and action plan of the organization
- Implements and exercises general management of the approved plans and activities
- Assists the head of the organization in project/activity proposal development and explores opportunities for new partnerships with donors and other partner agencies including representation of the organization in related meetings, conferences, workshops, etc.
- Assists the communications officer in the production, development and enhancement of collaterals and materials
- Conducts researches that are necessary in the successful implementation of resource mobilization program and activities
Qualifications:
- College graduate with background on marketing, business management and related fields
- At least 3 years work experience
- Actual experience in resource mobilization; project/activity proposal making, especially in fund-raising activities
- Knowledge and expertise on computer office applications (document, spreadsheets, presentations, email and internet, etc.)
- Good networking skills
- Excellent communication and good public presentation skills
- Can work with minimum supervision
- Flexible in schedule and able to work with a team
- Will be based in Quezon City but willing to travel in the provinces
Advantages:
- Experience in social development or non-profit development work.
- Well-versed in events management (forum, conference, exhibits, fund-raising events, etc)
- Knowledge on budget and financial management
- Can converse or understand at least (1) major regional language (Cebuano, Ilonggo, Bikol, etc.)
- Familiarity in the conceptualization, designing and production of audio-visual materials for promotion.
